Horse Maintenance and Setup

Horse Inventory

Setting up your horse inventory is found via the Horse menu/Horse Inventory form. Use this form to enter new horses, edit horse information, or to inactive a horse. Press the PRINT button to print a list of all horses.

A field definition list is below:

Fields

Name – enter the name of the horse

Type/Breed – enter the type or breed of horse Sex – Mare/Gelding, Male/Female, etc.

Riding ability – enter the type of horse regarding riding ability (i.e. beginner/intermediate/advanced, or kid horse/wrangler horse/adult horse, etc.)

Description – enter a description of the horse

Other notes – enter other notes (i.e. vaccination records, etc.)

Owner – enter owner’s name

Inactive – we recommend that you do not delete a horse that you are no longer using, but that has already been assigned. Instead, simply check the Inactive checkbox to disable the horse from being selected. PHOTO – press the

PHOTO button and attach a photograph of the horse

Tack Inventory

Select the Tack Inventory form from the Horses menu to enter/edit tack inventory. This feature is strictly informational and does not interface with any other feature in Lodge-ical™. Press the PRINT button to print a list of your entire tack inventory.

A field definition list is below:

Fields

Name – enter the name of the item

Qty – enter the inventory on hand

Description – enter the description of the item

Comments – enter any additional comments

Repair – check this box if this item is in need of repair

PHOTO – press the PHOTO button and attach a photograph of the item
