The Home tab

When you open up Lodge-ical™, you will see the following start-up menu tab:

Most of these options are documented in other sections of the user documentation. Definitions are as follows:

Today

This dashboard is designed to give you a picture of the events that are happening “today.”

The dashboard includes arrivals, departures, room assignments, activities, and correspondence follow-ups. If you wish to look at a date other than “today”, then you will rely on the standard reports and calendars that are found elsewhere.

Use the “Print Today’s Events” button to print to printer.

Discount Calendar

The Discount Calendar helps you calculate discounts at the time of data entry (without having to fetch a calculator).

If you want to offer a discount at the time of reservation, open this calculator and simply enter the price and discount percentage. Lodge-ical™ will calculate the discount amount and discounted price for you.
