FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March 12, 2025

ST. LOUIS, MO — RB Software, Inc. (RBS) is pleased to announce that on March 3, 2025, the company entered into an agreement to acquire Smart Hotel Software, a leading hospitality software provider based in Vancouver, Canada. This acquisition is a significant step in RBS’s plan to become a key global player in hospitality software.
Glenn Turner, CEO of RBS, leads the growing organization from its headquarters in the United States. In 2020, RBS began as a boutique provider of property management solutions for ranches, lodges, and outfitters in North America. More recently, RBS announced it had acquired Winsar Infosoft Pvt Ltd in India, a provider of cloud-based PMS solutions for nearly 2,300 hotels in 35 countries predominantly in the Middle East and Asia.
The addition of Smart Hotel Software brings approximately 70 North American hotels to the expanding portfolio of properties that RBS supports around the world.
“This acquisition is crucial for RBS as it establishes a strong foundation of hotels in the U.S. and Canada.” said Glenn Turner. “Smart Hotel Software (SHS) established a strong relationship with properties that use Sage Accounting and we intend to continue to support those properties and provide them with enhancements and cloud options should they so choose. At the same time, we are proud of our ranch, lodge and outfitter heritage and remain committed to serving and growing that customer segment as well.”
SHS’s North American presence strengthens RBS’s ability to support Sage customers while accelerating its growth with the recently acquired WinCloud platform.
Smart Hotel Software’s founder, Doug Ash, shared his enthusiasm, stating: “Although we’ve been approached several times over the years, this is the first time I felt like there was an opportunity to give our customers the continuing support they need as well as the opportunity to explore cloud options if they wish. RBS has shown a strong commitment to safeguarding our customers’ investments while delivering exceptional support.”
RBS’s vision is to become the global leader in AI-driven solutions that transform the hospitality industry. By leveraging its expanded reach and expertise, the company is well-positioned to deliver innovative products and tailored solutions to hotels, resorts, and other key segments within the global hospitality market.
The terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
